Can a cyst on your ovary make your period delayed?

Hi, I went through the exact same thing but it was my left ovary, and yes it does cause a period to be delayed. a cyst is excess uterine wall left over and it usually takes some time to completely be gone. Don't stress it does come late. Mine was about 5 days late. Completely normal. Do not stress:)
