Is this a bladder infection?

I have had a "bladder infection" for almost 2 months. It started because I had these incredibly sharp pains in my lower stomach, almost ovary location. But I didnt have any pain when urinating (so I dont think UTI). Just stabbing hard pains in my stomach. Went to the doctor and my urine test showed infection and blood in my urine. So the doctor said we would treat for a bladder infection but if it didnt clear up with antibiotics it could be kidney stones. And I was put on Septra. Went back after taking that and still had infection and blood. Was put on Cipro, he said a stronger antibiotic should clear it up. After that went back and no blood but still showing some infection. Then Doc asked me to take one more round of Septra, which I have and now still feeling some pain in my stomach. I go back for another urine test on Monday, and if there is still infection which I am sure there is, I will ask for further testing. I will also say that I do drink quite a bit of alcohol, about 2-3 times a week, maybe 2 gles each time. I am not sure that this is relevant but didnt drink while taking the antibiotics. Does anyone have any ideas or sound like issues you have had? I would just like to know before I go Monday.
