Is there a difference between a cystic lesion and an ovarian cyst?

I was in a motor vehicle accident and had my second trip to the ER 5 hours after the accident due to sudden onset of extreme abdominal pain. A CT scan was performed which showed all of my internal organs were fine. The scan though also shows "cystic lesion" on left ovary. I have had many pea sized cysts rupture and it has never felt like this does. The cyst has NOT ruptured at this point and is 4.5 cm in diameter. What does all this mean. I've never heard the term "cystic lesion" and have never had a doctor be concerned with a cyst's size. I am still having constant pain and was told the cyst was most likely aggrivated due to trauma from the MVA. I have a lawyer handling all my injuries. The ER doc did not tell me what "type" of cyst is was and I am scheduled to follow up with the OB on Monday....what am i to expect???
