What's the hype with MMORPGs? They're boring! How can people be ADDICTED to WoW?

Like pulling a slot machine -- how exciting is that? Pull... numbers and fruit and stuff roll around... none of them line up... or in rare instances a couple things align and a few coins come out of the machine... repeat. Repeat for several hours or days. The idea that settles into your addled brain is that you WILL hit the jackpot... or, in your case, that you WILL get those three hours back! Or at least eventually experience something, ANYthing, in the game that will make the loss of those three hours, or days, or years, SOOO worth it. Good luck.
