Abnormal bleeding between periods? Early period? please help!!!?

17 days ago i ended my period. a day after my period ended i started spotting again for like 30 min. well 3 days after i ended my period my husband and i were having and after i hurt so bad i felt like my cervix was being ripped apart then 3 days later we were having again and the pain started again it hurt so bad that we had to stop . the pain lasted for about an hour. my husband took me to the er and they didn't run test they just dismissed it as a ruptured cyst on my ovary. well last night i had a creamy brown colored discharge and i didn't really think much of it until today when i went to pee and wiped and saw dark blood and discharge then there were like dark specs in the toilet. what could this be? should i go back to the doctor or could it be an early period? my lower back is hurting and my stomach is cramping. i don't know what to do i hate going to the doctors so has anyone experienced this or know what could be wrong?
