If this was happening in your home country would you do this?

Ok so lets say you live in the USA and your home country......France was liberated by Germany. Well you left France and moved to Germany at the age of 13. You joined the US Army at 18 and served four years being in the Special Forces. Well you retire and see this un moral rule of Germany under France,children being d, parents being killed upfront of kids, protesters being shot. So would you protect your home country or stay away? Maybe start a rebellion or stay home and not save your people of there impending doom?
